In the early 1960's Vincenzo Ruberto arrived from Lamezia Terme, Calabria, Italy to join his brother in share farming land in Hay, New South Wales. With minimal resources Vince was determined to establish a life in Australia for his family, who would join him a year later.

 

Since this day Ruberto Vegetable Farms has undergone much industry hardship, hardwork and commitment. To now a well established farming enterprise, that continues to boast commmitment and strength of successful farming in a foreign land.

Our story has continued to grow through Vince's first son Sam, and now his children who are committed to ensuring agriculture is a vital sector to our economy, driving tradition of dedication and supplying quality fresh produce to customers throughout Australia and international markets.

 

Among this tradition of farming, we have a passion of watching things grow, eating and enjoying traditions bought from our roots in Italy. We will often share these joys of homemade tomato passata, homegrown sundried tomatoes and our Italian festivities around the table.
