Organic Green Garlic

Harvested prematurely in late Winter/early Spring. Available for sale in August & September.

Green Garlic is a new line of product, which was launched last year and extremely successful in both the fresh market of Sydney/Melbourne and for retail.

Green garlic is harvested before the cloves have begun to mature and form, and looks more like an oversized shallot, with a deep green stalk and white bulb. Green garlic does not yet have dried skin, and this means the entire head of garlic can be simply cut and used all up. It has a milder flavour than mature garlic and is suitable for a broad range of cuisine.
