a fresh approach to farming.

A large selection of land on our farm, has been set aside and is now used in Organic production. Traditionally our Farm practices involve saving and making our own garlic seed which was our first product converted to Organic, and now available on-line (depending on season).

Soil fertility on our Farm is maintained by using composts that have been tested for pathogens and heavy metals, sourced from suppliers that have been approved by the Biological Farmers Association (BFA).

Our growing methods involve implementation of Integrated Pest Management (IPM). An effective and environmentally sensitive approach to pest management that relies on a combination of common-sense practices and control methods which use predators, parasites or microbial pathogens, barriers and traps; adjusting location or timing of planting; crop rotation and cultivation techniques to suppress, prevent and deter effects of pests.

All of our growing methods, use of inputs and resources, promote environmental sustainability and preservation.
